Beatles - 1967

1967 out shined even 1966, and, for me, is on par with any other year, '71, '72 - pick your fave.  1967 was the year of Psychedelia.  For the Beatles, it was the ultimate statement.  The Rolling Stones, not so much.  To me, The Stones wouldn't hit their stride until the demise of The Beatles, and that after dropping the psychedelic pretense.  The Beatles, though, ran with it, and with Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour, created a statement that was contradictory, rebellious and colorful.  Try your hand:
